Toys for Tots

Donate a new unwrapped toy for the Marine Toys for Tots program, and we'll pay the sales tax on all GE Appliances, Furniture, Mattresses, Audio, and LG Infinia HDTV's. For every toy that you donate you will receive a coupon for us paying the sales tax on any one of the above items. This is a great way to help out this Holiday Season. Stop into Sherman's and drop off a toy for Toys for Tots!

Vote for Charity!

Last month you nominated over 30 deserving charities! Now it's time to vote for who gets your $1 donation on our Facebook "Local Charities" photo album.

Sherman's will donate up to $1 per Facebook fan to the charity of your choice. All you need to do is visit our Facebook page and follow the steps below to vote for your favorite charity.

How to vote:

1) Go to our Facebook page here

2) If you are not already a fan, click the 'Like Us' button at the top of the page

3) Go to the Local Charities photo album

4) Click "Like" under the charity of our choice (limit 1 vote per fan)

5) Sherman's will donate up to $1 per fan to the charity of your choice

6) Voting will continue through Friday, December 31st

7) The donations to the charities will be made the first week of January

Help Us Help Others

We want to support local charities and need your help. During the month of December, Sherman's will donate up to $1 per Facebook fan to local charities.

This November we would like to hear who your favorite local charity is on our Facebook wall. It can be any local nonprofit organization that you feel is deserving this Holiday Season. We will list all of the nominated charities on our page and each of our fans can vote for one charity.

How to nominate:

GE After Thanksgiving Rebates

Note: Friday, the 26th Sherman's is offering double gift cards between 6am and 10am. Please come in BEFORE November 26th to select your appliances. We want to make sure you receive the best service possible. Even with all our staff working that day, we expect long waits. Pre-selecting your appliances before that day, then making an appointment for the morning of Friday November 26^th will ensure you have time to make a smart selection AND get the maximum discounts!

-Do I have to buy an individual product or a whole appliance package?

The Sherman's gift cards are valid for any item $500 and up. The Up To $1,000 GE Profile Pre-Paid Visa Rebates (doubled for up to $2,000!) are valid on 2-4 piece GE Profile Kitchen Packages.

-What models are eligible for the $1000 GE rebates (doubled to up to $2,000)?

-How many appliances do I need to purchase for the package rebates?

2-4 piece packages are eligible for this rebate.

-Can I come in the morning of November 26th to pick out my new appliances?

Due to the monumental success of this rebate program in the past, all Sherman’s stores will be operating by appointment only on November 26^th. However, please feel free to come in and work with one of our appliance experts anytime before November 26th to pick out the appliances that fit your needs. If that is the only morning you’ll be able to visit, please expect a wait.

-Do I get all the money off at the time of sale or do I have to send away for it?

You will receive the Sherman's gift cards at the time of sale. The $1,000-$2,000 rebates are mail-in forms. You should receive the Pre-paid Visa card in the amount you qualify for within 4-8 weeks.

-How long do I have on Friday the 26th to come in?

The Sherman's double gift cards are from 6am - 10am only, however we will have $100 gift cards for every item $500 and up all day long. The package rebates are good until 11/29.

-When can I use the Sherman's Gift Cards?

The Sherman's gift cards are valid as of 12/26 and they have no expiration date. Also, on redemption, only one gift card may be used per item.

See how HDTV’s work on the INSIDE!

Now you can see firsthand how different HDTV technologies produce their pictures, with Sherman’s in-store HDTV cutaway displays. We’ve taken the three main LCD/LED types: CCFL LCD, Edge-Lit LED, and Backlit LED and cut away many of the inside layers, then put them back together again. You can see them running in our stores. On half you’ll see the regular picture they display, and on the other half you’ll see how the inner workings are producing that picture. We also have a Plasma as part of the display. Since you can’t cut out part of a Plasma panel, we’ve created a visual representation of the plasma cell structure. Renew & Replace Contest

Are you in dire need of a new stove, sofa or washing machine? Do you have to squint at your 1970's television to see the picture clearly? If so, enter our Renew & Replace Contest!


Send us a picture and description of the item (anything Sherman's sells) in your home that is in the biggest state of disrepair. You could win a $300 gift card towards the purchase of a replacement. The bigger the mess the higher the chance for success!

-When do I need to take delivery of my new product?

The state has set a deadline for delivery of Monday, October 18th.

-Do I get all the money off at the time of sale or do I have to send away for it?

The 15% comes directly off the items’ tagged price on the floor at the time of purchase. The $1,000-$2,000 rebates are mail-in forms. You should receive the Pre-paid Visa card in the amount you qualify for within 4-8 weeks.

-How long do I have on Friday the 24th to come in?

The state’s funds could run out at anytime. So, we suggest you schedule your appointment as early as possible the morning of the 24^th. However, we will guarantee the 15% off through 3:00 pm that day just to get you the best deal available!!
